WHAT IS ICE AGED WATER?
The Ice Age or Quaternary began 2.6 million years ago and continued to the last ice age, the Würm, ending around 10,000 years ago. The four ice ages of Günz, Mindel, Riss and Würm - named after the rivers of the same name that transported the mighty gravel of the end moraines - brought about a change in the landscape around Frankenmarkt.
BLUE BOMB's water is drawn from glacial aquifers in the north Alpine foothills around Frankenmarkt. It is the result of thousands of years of geological development of alpine glacial water.
These glaciers, which covered the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut during the Ice Age and formed today's valleys and lakes, pushed large masses of gravel. Where they stopped, terminal moraines formed, which shaped the country into its characteristic hilly landscape.

BLUE BOMB water comes from a source that is thousands of years old. The source is a result of glacial and geological development during the Ice Age.
BLUE BOMB sources are over 150 meters deep and store glacial filtered water. This water was filtered through
the Ice Age gravel bodies of the Mindel terminal moraine and is free from the harmful modern environmental influences.

Sodium is an important mineral and, as sodium chloride, is important for our body. The body needs sodium for nerves, muscles, heart rhythm and blood pressure, and it is important for an acid-base balance. The water balance in the body is also based on the amount of sodium supplied.

HIGH NATURAL ALKALINITY

Our blood is very slightly alkaline (=basic): the pH value in healthy people is between pH=7.35 and pH=7.45.
An unbalanced diet can lower the pH value in the blood. A high pH value in the drinking water is then important. The alkalinity helps to bring the body's pH back to healthy levels, balancing out the acidic elements.

Why low nitrate?
The nitrate content should be below 10 mg / l.
High-quality water should not exceed the value of 3 mg / l.
Nitrate metabolic waste products are potentially carcinogenic. The nitrate content in the water should always be as low as possible.
The nitrate content of BLUE BOMB is only <1 mg / - harmless and very low.
BALANCED CALCIUM & MAGNESIUM
It's all about the ratio.
The body absorbs calcium in a ratio of 2 to 1 with magnesium. Waters advertised with calcium that don’t have the right magnesium ratio are ineffective or even deprive the body of minerals.
